Fear is the cheapest room in the house. I would like to see you living in better conditions.
~ Hafez
I've lived all over the US and in various cities around the world. My natal chart has presented enough challenges to last several lifetimes, but a water grand trine cushions the blow a bit. I'm a data geek, I'm color blind, I've drowned, I love pistachios, my dream is to own and operate a donkey rescue someday, I've been homeless, I've been violently attacked and left for dead. I have celiac disease, I have several life-threatening allergies, loads of other allergies and HIT (enteral histaminosis), all of which dramatically limit my dietary choices.
I've been rescued from the penthouse window of a burning building, I spent most of my adolescence unjustly incarcerated, I've experienced and been forced to witness all manner of sexual assault, I speak several languages, I'm a dual national and I'm a synesthete. I've had 4 NDEs and several STEs (similar to NDEs) and can still recall each as though it happened 5 minutes ago.
Professionally, I've worn a lot of hats and still do. I've learned a lot from each career, juggling many of them at the same time. Although many of those hats are not referenced on my website, I've come to believe that all of the skills I've acquired over the last few decades were needed to help me with the work I do now.
This Holy Fire® World Peace Reiki Master Teacher certificate represents my most recent upgrade through the ICRT. I was already a Registered Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki® Master Teacher at the time, and this training builds on that foundation as part of my ongoing commitment to mastery and service.
The EOL Doula Professional Certificate program at the University of Vermont Larner School of Medicine is a relatively new offering. I had already been working as a professional Death Doula for decades before earning this certificate. This program simply affirms the depth of experience I bring to end-of-life care.
